Kevin Olson 2012 Deer Hunt

Kevin's 2012 Whitetail Adventure
Kevin Olson, paralyzed from the shoulders down, nails his first buck with a crossbow at Paradise Adventures. At the first of the video it is rifle season and 3 really nice bucks walk by, but they were too far to our right to get a decent shot. Towards the end of the video a 195 pound, 8 pointer walks out and gives us the perfect shot. The arrow pierced through both lungs and the buck runs down a hill into an adjacent field before collapsing.

Kansas Whitetail Deer Hunting

Timmy's big buck adventure
This monster whitetail came out of nowhere. Timmy gave a few doe bleats from his River Valley Game Call, "The Deer Flute", and there he was. By the time we both got turned completely around he had stepped into the thick cover. Timmy gave two more bleats and as if he was on a string, here he come. Timmy did the best he could, but this time it wasn't good enough. That's deer hunting at it's best folks.

Ken's first trip to Paradise
After what seemed to be an endless night I am sure for our deer hunter from NY.  In this video clip, Ken Burger is quite pleased with the tracking job from the pros at Paradise Adventures. We let this buck go over night just incase the shot wasn't quite where we like it. Everybody knows, It's better to wait, than to spook, and this wait was well worth it. The shot turned out to be perfect and another 140+ class buck heads for the taxidermist and another dream of a lifetime came true. The team at Paradise does it again.

Midwest Deer Hunting

One hour deer hunt, by Joe
How the heck? This whitetail almost got away. Joe O. from NY could not believe the power of these Kansas Whitetail Monster Bucks. This buck made it over a quarter mile on one lung and sheer adrenalin, but once again he didn't outsmart the pros at Paradise. With only a few tiny specks of blood, a couple tracks and a little luck, we found this 150+ class buck. As you will see in the video clip, a man couldn't ask for better arrow placement.

Kansas Monster Buck

"Thank you Lord," for everything
Watch as this Long Island hunter gets a second chance at this nice 8-point buck hunting in Kansas at Paradise Adventures. As you watch you can see the first shot get deflected by a tree limb. As Frank rushes to get the second shot off, the buck is standing there wondering what just happened. The second shot finds its target and the buck expires in just a couple seconds.

Kansas Whitetail Deer Hunting

Greg "Doc" Caldwell
Our dear friend from PA has come to Kansas with bow in hand. Doc is usually out here to guide for us at Paradise, but because of unusual circumstances he would not have the time for that this season. So we invited him out for an early archery hunt. When we first hear these two birds the microphone will not work, as I work frantically on the camera we can hear them closing in on us quickly. When I get the camera working they are within ten yards of our blind. Watch as these two weary gobblers circle in and Doc makes a perfect shot on his first Kansas gobbler taken with a bow. Kansas Turkey Hunting

Ely hammers his first big gobbler
Each year Paradise Adventures teams up with the middle school here at Altoona, KS. We hold a little contest amongst the kids to win a free turkey hunt. Every child has the opportunity to write an essay on a topic that we choose about turkey hunting. The winner of the best written essay gets to hunt at Paradise during the youth season. Ely Walker was our winner in 2005. Watch as these two monster gobblers come charging in. Ely learns just how exciting turkey hunting really is and becomes so shook up he can hardly talk. But that’s ok, he made the perfect shot first, and that’s what counts.

Turkey Hunts

Mary Lou has close encounter
WOW, This is some, "In your face turkey hunting action". I personally found out these two guys from Alabama are some of the best in the woods when it comes to tricking these big Kansas Gobblers. Watch how this bird threatens Mary Lou's virginity as he comes in with only one thing on his mind. It don't get any better than this. Paradise Adventures offers some of the best turkey hunting in the country and here you can bag two different species to help you out on your goal of bagging a Grand Slam or a World Slam. (Rio's and Easterns)

Bobcat Hunting

Set kitty, run kitty, stop kitty, play dead kitty. Good kitty
This predator hunt shows just how God made these critters blend in with their surroundings. I stared at this figure for a long time through the lens on my Sony before it moved and finally gave me a positive identification. Unbelievable, I just wonder what was coming up from behind her that made her move in the manner that she does? Could it have been Sassquash?

Coyote Hunting

Rock'em Sock'em Coyote hunts
Its hard to hear for the wind on these coyote hunts, but that just proves to me that the critters that live in Kansas are use to it. So when the wind blows, just try and use it to your advantage. Bob T. from Minnesota puts the hammer down on these two dogs before they had a chance to think about it. Now that's what I'm talking about. Short and Sweet.
